Lisa Connor – Head of Performing Arts at Acklam Grange School – has always treasured her long flowing hair. It reaches down her back – and at one stage in her life it was right down to her waist. As a teacher, she always wore it in a pigtail. On Friday 18 December her beloved pigtail was cut off by one of her pupils! It was all planned however, and two charities benefited from her sacrifice. Lisa raised almost £800 – all of which she has donated to The Meserani Project. Her pigtail was donated to a cancer charity. Thank you so much Lisa – from everybody at The Meserani Project – you’re a true star.
