Loini Labarani Melembuki
Loini attended Meserani Chini Primary School.
His father has three wives, his mother is the second wife and has six children – Loini is the first born. His father only has two cows, so there is no income to pay for Loini to go to secondary school. Nobody in his family has gone to secondary school, but Loini would definitely like to go. He likes English, Mathematics and Science, and would like to be the president of Tanzania one day, or hold some other government position. He was placed second in his primary school examinations in 2015.
Loini started his secondary education at Moita Boys’ Secondary Boarding School in January 2016. He is being sponsored by Chris Larkin and Margaret Cowden. Chris is a retired public health worker, and Margaret is a retired minister. They live in a small village on Long Island, New York, U.S.A.
