Arrived at Meserani late last night, and hit the ground running today: Picked up the landrover from Arusha, had a meeting with Grace from Kupenda Africa, collected a consignment of text books for Kipok School (a big thankyou to the Seasonal Singers for this), checked on the progress of rebuilding the Mt. Meru Maasai Market following their devastating fire last November, and bought a new ‘Dongle’ so that I could do what I am doing now!
Diane met up with Lekishon, known here at Meserani as the ‘Buffalo Boy’ after he survived a buffalo attack, but lost a leg as a result. He has been treated at the Clinic here at Meserani Snakepark, and is now back at school.
Diane couldn’t wait to buy her chavvy ‘Eet Sum Mor’ biscuits from her Maasai friends, and has now found another suitable chavvy product: ‘Crembi’.
