From the charity’s point of view, the best way for you to make a donation is by a bank transfer or a personal cheque – this way there is no commission taken out, and the full amount of your donation goes directly to the charity.

Equally important is that this allows us to claim Gift Aid on donations – all we need is for you to e-mail us when you make a donation, saying that we can claim Gift Aid, and provide us with your name and address.

We now have an account with Just Giving. Whilst Just Giving take a percentage from all donations, than can be offset if you click on the Gift Aid option when making a donation – this adds 25% to your donation, which is significantly more than Just Giving take as commission.
