The Stockton on Tees branch of Soroptimist International have been loyal supporters of The Meserani Project, and have just announced that they have ‘adopted’ us as their chosen charity for the forthcoming year.

Four members of their branch already sponsor girls to attend Kipok Secondary Boarding School, and two more have already committed to sponsor girls for the next academic year. At a recent fundraising event in Yarm, £800 was raised, and two water tanks for Kipok Girls Secondary Boarding School will be bought in August this year, when two trustees from The Meserani Project will hopefully be meeting members of the Arusha Branch (Tanzania) of Soroptimist International.
