The new Meserani Secondary School building project is making excellent progress, with work well underway with all buildings (8 classrooms, 3 science laboratories, 2 toilet blocks, library, ICT room, administration block). However, the disappointment for The Meserani Project is that there is no provision for the school to be a boarding school, as was originally planned.

The fantastic news is that, in liaison with Monduli Council (the regional council governing the area of the school), The Meserani Project is funding the building of two dormitories, a Dining/Assembly Hall, and kitchens. This means that the original dream of the school being a boarding school can now be realised.

Our preferred builder, Ibrahim Kileo, has received initial funding to begin the work, and construction of the two dormitories started earlier this month.
