A big thankyou to Barton Village Institute for donating so many bras for us to take over to Tanzania for the girls at Meserani Seconmdary School and their families.

Their Scarecrow Trail this year supported two charities, and the proceeds of the map sales went to ‘Breast Cancer Now’ as several residents in Barton have suffered from Breast Cancer. 

To advertise the event and make it noticeable, the committee made bunting out of bras, receiving almost 500 bras to decorate the village hall and pub.  On hearing about the “amazing work” done by The Mererani Project we were offered the bras for the girls and women that we help at Meserani, Tanzania.
