Three secondary school pupils and their fathers have raised the largest amount of money ever donated to The Meserani Project from a single event (£6,061) – and they did it by achieving something quite remarkable:
- Climbing the highest mountain in Scotland (Ben Nevis)
- Climbing the highest mountain in Wales (Snowdon)
- Climbing the highest mountain in England (Scafell Pike)
…..and all of this was done in less than 24 hours! (22 hours and 53 minutes)
Major challenges involved:
- 23 miles of actual mountain hiking
- 10,052 feet of uphill walking
- Driving the 462 miles between the three mountains

Our heartfelt thanks go to the three Yarm School pupils, Wilf Dugdale, George Howlett, Wilf Sawyer, and the three parents, Joe Dugdale, Paul Howlett, Bill Sawyer.
