Next year (2014) we will have twenty-five students who have completed their secondary education, and will be looking to attend some form of Further Education Course. The Meserani Project has made a commitment to these students that we will ensure every one of them is able to pursue whichever further education course they embark on. We will pay their school/college fees, accommodation costs, and provide them with whatever equipment and clothing that they need.

Currently, we already have two students studying A’ Levels – Charles Robert and Lembris Loisulie – these two students are on two-year residential courses at Engutoto School and Sanya Juu School respectively. We also have two students on residential teacher training courses – Naurey Levaani and Leah Lucas.Three students are due to start a three-year residential course at Arusha Vocational Training College – Meporoo Sumu, Bwanashamba Pusindawa and John Sanare.

The remaining students have just completed their secondary education, and are waiting for the results of the national examinations – due out in April May 2014. Once these results are published, we will know which students will be studying A’ Levels, which students will go to College, and which students will go to Technical College. We have sponsors for almost all of these students, but urgently need sponsors for Lucas Isaya, Agness Meloo and Ngivuyoni Leskari – please contact us if you are aware of anyone who may sponsor these three students (the cost will be £160 a year for three years, and this will pay for everything that they need – fees, accommodation, equipment and clothing.)
