Final preparations were put together for the visits of two groups who are coming to undertake work for our charity. A group of students and teachers from The International School of Moscow arrive this afternoon, and will be meeting the two boys that they sponsor, as well as being taken to their family homes. On Monday, the group will be visiting Kipok School, where they will be handing over a variety of resources, including a laptop and overhead projector. Later this afternoon a group from Virgin Media arrive, and they will be spending four days here undertaking projects for the charity.

Saningo Loisulie June 2015In preparation for these visits, we met with a number of our sponsored students who will be acting as ‘guides’ and interpreters. Saningo Loisulie was also able to look at two videos that his sponsor John Bate put together for him.

Paulo Saingories June 2015Paulo Saingorie is our only pupil at Ilboru Boys Secondary Boarding School, and he will be taking the pupils from Moscow to visit his boma this afternoon. You will see in this image a bag of maize and a can of oil by his side – this is something that we are giving to every student during this visit, and is to support their families at a time when a severe drought has drastically affected their crops.

Paulina Loibanguti June 2015Paulina Loibanguti came back to see us yesterday afternoon, and spoke to her sponsor Terry on Peter’s mobile telephone – this was to discuss an ongoing issue that has finally been resolved after three years of difficulty for Paulina.
