Meserani Secondary School was recognised on World Forest Day for the transformation of the school environment – 800 trees have been planted, a finger euphorbia perimeter fence has been planted around the 25 acre site, and a one-acre vegetable plot has been fully established. All these achievements have been funded by The Meserani Project, and managed by the staff at the school – under the leadership of the inspirational Mr. Miage, teacher of Physics.

The presentation on 24 March was attended by government officials and local dignitaries, and the school was presented with a further 1,000 trees.
The Meserani Project would like to thank the many supporters of our project who have donated funds for the trees, and a big thank you of course to teacher Mr. Miage for his energy and enthusiasm.
