Regina Meliyo
Regina attended Losingira Primary School. She comes from a family of three children, two boys and herself. Regina is the first born. Her father was born half blind, and her mother is jobless. After completing her time at Losingira Primary School, and having passed her final national examinations she was selected by the government to join Kipok Girls’ Secondary Boarding School. Regina was successful in her secondary school National Examinations, and was selected to study A’ Levels in Chemistry, Biology and Geography, at Kiwanja High School, Chunya, Mbeya, starting on 8 July 2025. She is being sponsored for her two years of A’ Level studies by Bryan Sloper and Chris Gent, from Middlesbrough Erimus Rotary Club. Chris is a retired head teacher, “enjoying my retirement travelling, cruising and spending time with friends and family. I am married to Sue who is also retired. I am a Rotarian and have been a member of Erimus Rotary Club for many years. I am sponsoring Regina to help her achieve her dream of becoming a nurse.”
