Lembris Loisulie
Lembris attended Lesiraa Primary School, where he achieved top marks in the final exams. He lives in a mud hut with a grass roof, and had to walk two hours to get to school each morning. His mother has no work, and his father is disabled, and can not work. He has one brother and one sister.
Lembris started Einoti Secondary School in January 2009. He completed his final year in November 2012, and was expected to go to High School to study A’ Levels, and then hopefully go on to University so that he can pursue his ambition to be a doctor. He is being sponsored by a member of staff at Egglescliffe School, Stockton, and her husband.
When the National Examinations results were published in early July 2013, Lembris had clearly done well and was awarded a place at Sanya Juu School near Moshi to study A’ Levels, (Physics, Biology, Chemistry and General Studies) – he also studies Basic Applied Mathematics. In late July a trustee from the project spent two days with Lembris buying his uniform and equipment, and paying his school and boarding fees on behalf of his sponsors. He started his A’ Level studies at Sanya Juu School, near Moshi, on Monday 29 July 2013.
Following excellent results in his A’ Level Examinations, the government awarded Lembris a place at Iringa University (http://www.uoi.ac.tz) to follow a three-year degree course. He started his course in October 2015, and continues to be supported by the same sponsors.
In 2021 Lembris was employed as Data Manager and ICT Technician at Twasco Company Ltd., where he is responsible for the management of all farmers’ databases and follow-up. He is working on a project in collaboration with Agresult, an organisation providing grants to private sectors, specifically in the agriculture sector.
