Jackson Sanare

Jackson attended Meserani Juu Primary School.  His father has died, and his mother is a grass cutter.  He lived with his mother and eight brothers and sisters in this boma.

Jackson started Einoti Secondary School in January 2009. In July 2012 his mother moved to Tanga because of successive droughts, and Jackson remained behind to continue his education. He completed his final year in November 2012, and did not achieve the results that we believe he  deserved. His sponsor, Mrs. Hilda Renton, a pensioner from Eaglescliffe, Stockton, funded him to re-sit his final two years of secondary education at Eite Secondary School, Kisongo.

In his internal school examinations at Elite Secondary School in 2014, Jackson was placed first in his year group, and in his  final year (2015) he was appointed as Head Boy.

Jackson sat his national examinations in November 2015, and achieved a Division Two pass. He was selected to study Physics, Chemistry and Biology at A’ Level at Sanya Juu School, Moshi. He was sponsored throughout his A’ Level studies by pupils from Acklam Grange School.

In September 2018 Jackson was selected to study a BSc Degree in Civil Engineering at Mbeya University. He is being sponsored throughout his three-year degree course by Chris. Gent, Bryan Sloper and Geoff Taylor, from Middlesbrough Erimus Rotary Club.
