Samwel Olais

His extended family consists of 21 children (his father has three wives). His parents do not care about him having an education.

Samwel started Moita Boys’ Secondary Boarding School in January 2012. In his first school examinations (summer 2012) he was positioned 5^th. in his year group, and in the end-of year examinations (November 2012) he was positioned first!  In his Mock National Examinations for Form Four he achieved a Merit, (the second highest level of pass). 

Samuel completed his secondary education in November 2015, and in his National Examinations he achieved a Division Two pass. As a result he was selected by the government to do a Diploma Course as a Clinical Officer at the Sebastian Kolowa Memorial University, Sekomu (http://www.sekomu.ac.tz). He began his course in June 2016. Samuel has been sponsored throughout his education by Linda Hyde, a teacher at Acklam Grange School.
