Erick William

There are three boys and three girls in the family. Erick’s father left the family for another woman a long time ago, and Erick has actually never seen him. His mother works in a kiosk selling food. He was placed 12^th. in his examinations at Meserani Juu Primary School in early 2014. He would like to be a doctor one day.

Erick started his secondary education at Moita Boys’ Secondary Boarding School in January 2015. He is being sponsored by Elizabeth and Karen Mitchell, who also sponsor Erick’s elder brother, Charles Roberts. Elizabeth is a former pupil at Acklam Grange School.

Erick achieved a Division Two result in his final examinations, and was selected to study A’ Levels in History, Geography and Kiswahili at Iwawa High School, Makete, Njombe. He started his course in July 2019. Karen Mitchell is continuing to sponsor Erick through his two years of A’ Level studies.

Erick achieved a Division I Point 9 result in his A’ Level examinations, and was selected to study a degree course in Law at St. Augustine University, School of Law, Mwanza, starting in October 2021. His sponsors throughout his three years at university are Karen Mitchell and Yasmin Chaudhrey.
