Ever thought to yourself, ‘That’s a great name for a goat!?’ Well, now you have the opportunity to name a real life Maasai goat! Not only that, we’ve thrown in the opportunity to name a sheep too!
We are opening up a competition to name the animals that were presented to two trustees of The Meserani Project by Maasai elders from the Meserani region in Tanzania, in recognition of the impact they have had on the education of young people in their community. The gift of a goat and a sheep is a supreme honour amongst the Maasai population.
The winners will be picked by James Wharton MP for Stockton South, and both the goat and sheep will be presented with their own special collars. There will be 1 winner for the goat and 1 winner for the sheep.
If you would like to have a go at naming the animals, get in touch with your name selections via Facebook, Twitter or e-mail by Friday 12th December 2014. Entry is free! Please note that they are both male!
The winners will receive a FREE Meserani Project T-Shirt.
N.B. Only one entry per person will be accepted for each animal.
