Lootha Mithawas
Lootha attended Meserani Chini Primary School.
His father has two wives, and his mother is the first wife and has nine children – Lootha is the second born. He has an older brother who went to secondary school because his uncle paid, but he could not afford to go on the Further Education. Lootha’s father can not afford to send him to secondary school – he would have to look after other cattle in order to be able to do this. Lootha likes English, Kiswahili and Mathematics, and would like to be a doctor one day. He was placed ninth in his primary school examinations in 2015.
Lootha started his secondary education at Moita Boys’ Secondary Boarding School in January 2016. He was sponsored by Ben Gent.
Lootha achieved a Division Two result in his final examinations, and was selected to study A’ Levels in History, Geography and Literature at Mwakavuta School. He started his course in July 2020. He is being sponsored through his two years of A’ Level studies by Ben.
