Thomas Jacob Kilamian

Thomas attended Meserani Juu Primary School.

His father had two wives, and Thomas’ mother was his second wife – she has moved out with her four children. She now lives in a rented house near to Meserani Snake Park, and sells goods at the local market to make a living. Thomas’ sister was supposed to go to Further Education, but the person who was supporting her education stopped their support. Thomas would like to be a doctor one day, but realises that his mother cannot afford to send him to secondary school. He was placed ninth in his primary school examinations in 2015.

Thomas started his secondary education at Moita Boys’ Secondary Boarding School in January 2016, thanks to the generosity of his sponsor.

Thomas achieved a Division Two result in his final examinations, and was selected to study A’ Levels in History, Geography and Kiswahili at Ndanda School. He started his course in July 2020, thanks to the generosity of his sponsor.

In November 2022 Thomas started a three year Bachelor in Oriental Languages & Chinese course at Dodoma University, and once again Thomas is being sponsored through this course by the same sponsor.
