Fausta Samwel

Fausta attended Meserani Juu Primary School.

She grew up with her grandmother, and now lives with her Auntie who works in a grocery shop. She does not know her mother. Her father lives a two-hour drive away. She was placed second in her primary school examinations in 2015.

Fausta started her secondary education at Kipok Girls’ Secondary Boarding School in January 2016. She was sponsored by Ben Gent.

Fausta achieved a Division Two result in her final examinations, and was selected to study A’ Levels in History, Kiswahili and Literature at Ashira School, Kilimanjaro. She started her course in July 2020. She is being sponsored through her two years of A’ Level studies by Ben.

In November 2022 Fausta started a three year BA course in Literature at Dar es Salaam University, and she is being jointly sponsored throughout her three years at university by Jenny Allen from Virgin Media, and a resident of Appleton Wiske.
