Many of the jewellery and handicrafts that we bring back from Tanzania to sell on behalf of The Meserani Project are bought by us directly from the stallholders at Mt. Meru Curio Market in Arusha, Tanzania.

We were shocked to hear two days ago that a fire had broken out during the night at the market, and destroyed all the stalls. This is terrible news for the stallholders, who relied on the market for their living. We know many of them very well, and our hearts go out to them all right now.
