Dora Loisulie Naweck
Dora lives with both parents. There are seven in family (four girls and three boys). Her mother doesn’t work, and father tries to support the family but they are very poor.
Dora started Engutoto Secondary School as a boarding pupil in January 2014, and was later transferred to Irkisongo School, Monduli, as part of a school reorganisation programme. In 2016 she was placed second in her year group of 167 pupils. She was sponsored through secondary school by Karen Lavender, whose three children were all pupils at Acklam Grange School.
Dora sat her national secondary examinations in November 2017, and performed extremely well. As a result she was selected to study A’ Levels in Chemistry, Physics & Biology at Miono High School, Pwani, and he started her course in July 2018. Dora is being sponsored through her two years of A’ Level studies by Julie Bentham.
In November 2020 Dora was selected to study a BEd in Mathematics) & Computer Science at Dar University. She is being sponsored throughout her three years at university by Claire Lancefield, a former pupil (Head Girl) at Acklam Grange School, now living and working in Nottingham as a solicitor.
