Francesca Sylvesta

Francesca attended Losingira Primary School. She does not know her parents, and is being looked after by a relative who has been given a government grant for support. The relative was visiting orphanages to try and get sponsorsdhip for Francesca to go to secondary school, but was not successful. She has one young sister, also being looked after by the relative, but she does not know her other siblings.

Francesca started her secondary education at Ol Tinga Secondary Boarding School, Manyara, in January 2023. She is being sponsored by Lesley Sloey, who met Francesca in January 2023 whilst part of a group of employees of Virgin Media/O2 supporting the work of The Meserani Project.  Lesley says. “As a mum of two, who have have had every opportunity afforded them, I’m delighted to be able to support Francesca through the fantastic works of the Meserani Project team.  To be able to do something to help any child gain access to education is a privilege and an honour.”
