Hidaya Rashid

Hidaya’s father was an employee at Meserani Snakepark, but is unable to support Hidaya because of personal difficulties. She only attended five years at primary school, because her father could not afford her school uniform. Her mother took her to Singida, ‘for a better life’, but was not able to afford to send her to secondary school.

Hidaya started her secondary education at Puma Secondary School, Singida in January 2017. She is being sponsored by Hollie Dixon and Sophie Ramsden, former pupils at Acklam Grange School.
