Imanuel Soine

Imanuel has two sisters and four brothers. Neither of his parents work. He had to walk three kilometres each morning to get to his primary school. He was positioned fourth in his primary school examinations at Meserani Juu Primary School on early 2014, and performed particularly well in the national examinations in September 2014. He would like to be a mining engineer one day.

Imanuel started his secondary education at Moita Boys’ Secondary Boarding School in January 2015. In his first school examinations in December 2015 he was placed 4th. in his year group of 133 pupils. He is being sponsored by tutor group 10JG from Acklam Grange School, Middlesbrough.

Imanuel achieved a Division One result in his final examinations, and was selected to study A’ Levels in Chemistry, Biology and Geography at Milambo School, Tabora. He started his course in July 2019. He is being sponsored through his two years of A’ Level studies by Sean Chuhan, a member of staff at Nunthorpe Academy.

Imanuel achieved a Division III Point 15 result in his A’ Level examinations, and was selected to study a B Ed degree course in Guidance & Counselling at Dodoma University, starting in October 2021. Sean is continuing to sponsor Imanuel throughout his three years at university.
