Mosses Saruni

Mosses attended Losingira Primary School. He was twenty years old when he completed his primary education because he missed several years at school due to a severe eye injury where he had a thorn stuck in his eye – this has resulted in him only having sight in one eye. His other only has two children – a mistake in an operation resulted in her not being able to have any ore children. Mosses’ father has no employment.

Mosses started his secondary education at Moita Boys’ Secondary Boarding School in January 2020. He is being sponsored by Jamie Madine, who met Mosses in January 2020 whilst in Tanzania volunteering for The Meserani Project. After listening to Mosses’ story, Jamie “wanted to do something to help Mosses, so I decided to sponsor him”.
