Fatuma Omari
Fatuma has no father, she lives with her mother, brother and two sisters. The neighbour allows the family to live in one room. The mother cuts hair to try and make a living, and they are also supported by the local community and are having to survive on one meal a day.
Fatuma started Kipok Girls’ Secondary Boarding School in January 2011, and completed her secondary education in November 2014. In January 2016 she started a two-year residential course at Arusha Vocational Training Centre, leading to a national Level II certificate. She was sponsored throughout her secondary education and vocational training by Eric & Mary Johnson.
