Loda Kivoy

 

He is living with both parents. His mother cuts stone for money. There are eight children in the family, he is the third born. He wants to be a doctor.

In his final primary school examinations he gained 173 marks out of a possible 250.

Loda started Moita Boys Secondary Boarding School in January 2013. In his end-of-year examinations in 2013 he was placed third in his year group of 113 pupils. In his Form Three Examinations in November 2015 he gained a Distinction (the highest level of pass). He is being sponsored by Simon Trenholm.

Loda was selected to study A’ Levels in Chemistry, Biology and Geography at Loliondo School, Arusha, and started his course in July 2017. He was sponsored through his two years of A’ Level studies by Simon Trenholm.

Loda performed particularly well in his A’ Level examinations, and was selected to study a Bachelor in Environmental Health Degree, at Mutimbilia University, Dar Es Salaam, starting in October 2019. He is being jointly sponsored through his three year university degree course by Simon Trenholm and Nick Whaley.
