Tabea Raphael
She is living with both her parents, but her father is blind. Her mother sells food in the local market once a week to bring in money for the family. There are nine children in the family, she is the fifth born. She wants to be a clerk in a bank one day.
In her final primary school examinations she gained 160 marks out of a possible 250.
Tabea started Einoti Secondary School in January 2013. She is being sponsored by Sue Geddes.
Tabea was selected to study A’ Levels in English, Geography and Mathematics at Mwika School, Moshi, and started her course in July 2017. She was sponsored through her two years of A’ Level studies by Sue.
Tabea performed particularly well in her A’ Level examinations, and was selected to study a BEd Degree in Economics & Geography at St. Augustine University, Mwanza, starting in October 2019. She is being jointly sponsored through her three year university degree course by Sue, and by the Elimu Safari Group from the U.S.A.
