Rahel Elirehema

Rahel attended Kisongo Primary School.

Her father broke both his legs in a motor bike accident, and is not able to support his family. There are five children in the family, two girls and three boys. Rahel is the second born. She is the first child in the family to get an education because neither parents have an income. Her favourite subjects are Chemistry, Biology and Geography, and she would like to be a teacher one day. Her average grade in primary school examinations was B.

Rahel started her secondary education at Kipok Girls’ Secondary Boarding School in January 2016. She is being sponsored by Shelley Fletcher, a retired Art Conservator, who worked for most her career at the National Gallery of Art, Washington, D.C. Shelley now lives in Florida.
