Regina Meliyo

Regina attended Losingira Primary School. She comes from a family of three children, two boys and herself. Regina is the first born. Her father was born half blind, and her mother is jobless. After completing her time at Losingira Primary School, and having passed her final national examinations she was selected by the government to join Kipok Girls’ Secondary Boarding School. Because of family poverty her father wanted Regina to be married instead of going to secondary school. She would like to be a nurse in the future.

Regina started her secondary education at Kipok Girls’ Secondary Boarding School in January 2021. She is being sponsored by Middlesbrough Erimus Rotary Club.
