Thursday 5 January

Depart Heathrow at 0630 on Flight KL 1000 (KLM) to Amsterdam.

Arrive Amsterdam at 0900.

Depart Amsterdam at 1145 on Flight KL 565 to Nairobi.

Arrive Nairobi at 2150.

Meet the crew from Kupenda Africa and drive to Wildebeest Eco Camp, Nairobi.

Friday 6 January

Drive to Meserani.

Camp at Meserani Snakepark.

 

Saturday 7 January

Unpack and organise all project resources.

Meet the A’ Level and University students (morning).

Meet the new Form One pupils for pre-school preparation (afternoon).

Laptop lessons with A’ Level and University students.

Camp at Meserani Snakepark.

 

Sunday 8 January

Meet all secondary school boys at Itisso (morning).

Meet all secondary school girls at Itisso (afternoon).

Laptop lessons with A’ Level and University students.

Monday 9 January

Visit Arusha to buy Solar Power equipment (morning).

Shopping at the Maasai Market, Arusha.

Tuesday 10 January

Solar Power installation and water harvesting at Meserani Chini School.

Mural painting at Losingira School.

Wednesday 11 January

Visit Arusha Vocational Training Centre to work with students on the Electrical Installation Course.

Thursday 12 January

Laptop lessons with A’ Level and University students (morning).

Drive to Tarangire National Park.

Afternoon game drive.

Bush Camp in Tarangire National Park.

 

Friday 13 January

Tarangire National Park morning game drive.

Drive to Karatu.

Camp at Flamingo Lodge.

 

Saturday 14 January

Ngorongoro Crater game drive.

Drive to Meserani.

Sunday 15 January

Visit Kipok School and Moita School to assist pupils in letter writing.

Work with teachers on Powerpoint presentations.

Upgrade solar power to school office at Kipok School.

Monday 16 January

Laptop lessons for students and teachers.

Water harvesting at Lesiraa School.

Option to re-visit Kipok School and Moita School, or Arusha Vocational Training Centre.

Option of a traditional Goat Barbecue at Meserani Snakepark.

Tuesday 17 January

Drive to Nairobi.

Camp at Wildebeest  EcoCamp.

 

Wednesday 18 January

Giraffe Sanctuary/St. Secilia/Elephant Sanctuary. Meal at Safari Park.

Thursday 19 January

Depart Nairobi at 0805 on Flight KQ 116 (Kenya Airways) to Amsterdam.

Arrive Amsterdam at 1450.

Depart Amsterdam at 1545 on Flight KL 2021 for Heathrow.

Arrive Heathrow at 1605.
