P1010999The International School of Moscow arrived at Meserani on Sunday afternoon, and met  with the two boys that they sponsor to attend Moita Bwawani Boys’ SecondaryBoarding School. The teachers and staff were taken to their family homes by older sponsored pupils, and were told all about the Maasai culture, and the issues faced by the families.

Russia School June 2015The next morning, the staff and students from Moscow visited Kipok Girls’ Secondary Boarding School, and were given a tour of the school by three former pupils. They presented the Head Teacher, Felista Lukumay, with a laptop and projector (the school was recently supplied with a whiteboatrd by The Meserani Project, so the projector could be implemented immediately). The pupils had prepared a variety of educational lessons for the laptop, and these were shown to the Kipok pupils.

Arusha VTC June 2015Arusha VTC June 2015The group from Virgin Media have been very busy since their arrival on Sunday evening – yesterday morning they visited Arusha Vocational Training Centre to donate much-needed resources, but more importantly they embarked on putting together a business plan that would look at ongoing support and development of the Centre.

Virgin Media June 2015Virgin Media June 2015Later in the day, the Virgin Media group gave basic laptop lessons to the students that The Meserani Project are currently sponsoring through their A’ Level studies – it was amazingly successful, and the Tanzanian students can’t wait until their next lessonVirgin Media June 2015.
