We had a fantastic number of entries, from individuals of all ages, from primary schools and from secondary schools. The two names that James selected from all the entries are detailed below.

The name for the goat will be Amani – which is a translation of “Peace”, and the name was submitted by Mark Womack, whose daughter Demi is a former deputy head-girl at Acklam Grange School, and visited Meserani with the school in 2011 and again in 2013. Mark and his family sponsor Sophie Merinyo to attend Einoti Secondary School.

The name for the sheep will be Masego – which is a translation of “Blessings”, and the name was submitted by Nicola James, a former deputy head girl at Acklam Grange School, who visited Meserani with the school in 2007.
