Daniel Sindiyo

Daniel SindiyoDaniel’s father has three wives, one wife has six children, another has three children, and Daniel’s actual mother has five children. His father is a farmer (maize and livestock), and his brother went to university. His favourite subjects are Physics, Biology and Chemistry, and he enjoys playing football. Daniel wants to be a civil engineer. He was placed third in his primary school examinations in his final year.

Daniel started Moita Boys’ Secondary Boarding School in January 2014. In his National Form Two examinations in 2015 he gained a Distinction (the highest level of pass). He is being sponsored by The International School of Moscow – this is in recognition of the hospitality shown to them by Daniel’s primary school – Meserani Juu – during a visit there in 2013.

Daniel sat his national secondary examinations in November 2017, and performed extremely well. As a result he was selected to study A’ Levels in History, Geography & Economics at Nyanduga High School, Mara, and he started his course in July 2018. The International School of Moscow is continuing to sponsor Daniel through his two years of A’ Level studies.

Daniel got a Division 2.10 in his final A’ Level examination results, and in September 2020 The Meserani Project paid for his application to university. We wish him the best of luck with his application – we expect to find out in October/November if he was successful.

In November 2020 Daniel was selected to study a BA degree course in Adult & Community Development at the University of Dodoma. He is being sponsored throughout his three years at university by Bernard Fields, whose children went to Acklam Grange School.
