Whilst Sunday and Monday were our busiest days yet, yesterday was definitely even more frantic. Throughout the morning we met with all the boys who are being sponsored, from Form One right up to second year A’ Level, and in the afternoon we met all the girls. Each pupil/student was interviewed by someone from the Virgin Media group, who had an A’ Level student to help with the communication barriers. Letters from sponsors were read and discussed, and ‘pep talks’ were handed out. It was extremely tiring for the members of the Virgin Media group, but nevertheless a very rewarding and important activity.

There was time in the afternoon to visit some of the pupils in their homes, which again was an interesting experience.
