Joshua Obedi

Joshua attended Kisongo Primary School.

His father has passed away, and he lives with his mother who has a small job at the market – she will not be able to afford to send Joshua to secondary school as she was dependent on her husband and there are no other family members who can help.  He is the first born of four children. His favourite subjects are Science and Swahili, and he would like to be a doctor one day. He was placed ninth in his primary school examinations in 2015.

Joshua started his secondary education at Moita Boys’ Secondary Boarding School in January 2016. He is being sponsored by Robert King.

In November 2020 Joshua progressed to study A’ Levels in Chemistry, Biology and Geography at Mariado High School, Arusha. He is being sponsored through his two years of A’ Level studies by Robert.

In November 2022 Joshua started a three year BSc course in ICT at Dodoma University, and once again Robert is sponsoring Obedi through this course.
