Naishiye Kimani

There are eight in the family – Naishiye’s mother and father, her two sisters and three brothers. Her parents survive by growing crops and tending cattle. Her favourite subjects are Physics, Chemistry and Biology. She was placed second in her primary school examinations, and equal second in her Form Three secondary school examinations. She would like to be a doctor one day.

Naishiye is being sponsored to attend Kipok Girls’ Secondary Boarding School by Doreen DiBiagio and Nancy Corporon from the U.S.A.

Naishiye  was selected to study A’ Levels, and started her course in July 2017. She was sponsored through her two years of A’ Level studies by Doreen and Nancy.

Naishiye performed particularly well in her A’ Level examinations, and was selected to study a BEd Degree at Dodoma University, starting in October 2019. She is being sponsored through her three year university degree course by Doreen and Nancy.
