Namayani Sitoni Mollel

Namayani attended Meserani Juu Primary School.

Her father has two wives, and her mother is the first wife. Namayani’s elder sister was also very bright, but her parents could not afford to send her to secondary school so she had to remain at home – she was married off in 2010. Her father has told all his children that there will be no more education after primary school. She likes Mathematics, Science and Kiswahili, and would like to be a secondary school teacher one day.  She was placed first in her primary school examinations in 2015.

Namayani started her secondary education at Kipok Girls’ Secondary Boarding School in January 2016. She is being sponsored by Jenny Wright.
