National Examination Results Posted July 6, 2014 by admin

The National Examination results for secondary school pupils were published throughout May and June, and once again the government created confusion and disappointment for some of the pupils.

Four of our students achieved the necessary pass marks to be able to proceed to A’ Level studies, and have now been allocated places at High School by the government. They are due to begin their studies at the start of July, and have all been placed at High Schools considerable distances from Meserani. Maria Ngimasirwa is going to a High School in Kondoa, Elibariki Thomas is going to Mbeya, Lucas Dalash is going to Dar Es Salaam, and Edward Kuresoi is going to Tabora.

Three of our students – Paulo Meseyeki, Jonathan Ndeleo and Baba Lotumieki – were told in May by the government that they had passed to go to High School and study A’ Levels, but were devasted to be told in June that the government did not have any places for them! We are meeting the three boys in August, and will be looking at the possibility of finding them places at a private High School in order for them to study the A’ Level courses that they quite rightly should be allowed to begin!

Two of our students – Magreth Parsalau and Loserian Leiyo – gained the necessary pass marks to go on to College, and we are waiting to hear from the government as to where they have been placed.

Our remaining seven students – Lucas Isaya, Lomnyaki Babu, Lomayani Mrumbe, Lewo Leyon, Agness Meloo, Helen Mrumbe and Ngivuyoni Leskar – did not achieve the necessary pass marks to be given a place at High School or College, so we will be helping them apply to Arusha Vocational Training Centre some time in September.
