Pendo Sileriani

Pendo attended Meserani Chini Primary School.

Pendo was positioned tenth in her final year at Meserani Chini Primary School. Her father has five wives, and all Pendo’s seven elder sisters have been married off. A husband has already been found for Pendo, and she will be his first wife. Her father does not want her to be educated, but Pendo loves school and does not want to be married off. Her favourite subjects are Science, English and History, and she would like to be a nurse one day.

Pendo started her secondary education at Kipok Girls’ Secondary Boarding School in January 2017. She is being sponsored by Clare Peacock, manager of Costa Coffee on Teesside Park.
