Sabaya Leskari Memirieki

Sabaya attended Meserani Chini Primary School.

His father has three wives and fifteen children, and his mother is the first wife. She has seven children, and Sabaya is the second born. His father wants his children to have an education, and sent his oldest daughter to Kipok School, but he now cannot afford any more fees, so she has had to return home. He likes English, Mathematics and Geography, and would like to be a doctor one day. He was placed tenth in his primary school examinations in 2015.

Sabaya started his secondary education at Moita Boys’ Secondary Boarding School in January 2016. He is being sponsored by Petra Mrazek, who lives in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania. Petra is a Finance Controller, and is originally from Vienna, Austria.

Sabaya was selected to study A’ Levels in Biology, Chemistry and Geography at Moringe School, Monduli. He started his course in July 2020. Petra is continuing to sponsor him through his two years of A’ Level studies.

In September 2022 Sabaya started a two-year certificate course in teaching Biology & Chemistry at Korogwe Teachers College, Tanga. Petra is continuing Sabaya’s sponsorship through this course.
