Samwel Supuku Melita

He lives with both parents who try to make a living through animals and crops. He has three brothers, all of them are farmers, and three sisters. all of whom have been marrtied off. He came eighth in his year group at the start of his final year in primary school.

Samwel started Moita Boys’ Secondary Boarding School in January 2014, and was placed 14th. out of 109 pupils in his year group in his first school examinations. In the National Form Two Examinations 2015 he gained a Distinction (the highest level of pass). He is being sponsored by Rebecca Waters, a former teacher at Acklam Grange School.

Samwel sat his national secondary examinations in November 2017, and performed extremely well. As a result he was selected to study A’ Levels in Physics, Chemistry and Biology at Miono High School, Pwani, and he started his course in July 2018. Rebecca Waters is continuing to sponsor Daniel through his two years of A’ Level studies.

In November 2020 Samwel was selected to study a BSc degree course in Physics at the University of Dodoma. Rebecca is continuing her sponsorship of Samwel  throughout his three years at university.
