Tatayai Salaash

Tatayai attended Lesiraa Primary School.

His father died in 2013. His mother has no employment, she keeps hens for her family. The family lives at Longido, but BJ from Meserani Snakepark paid for Tatayai to go to Lesiraa (mother is an amputee, and BJ found her crawling on the floor at Longido). He has six sisters, and his first sister has passed away. His favourite subjects are Physics, Chemistry and Biology, and he would like to be a Science teacher one day.

Tatayai started Moita Boys’ Secondary Boarding School in January 2016. He was sponsored by Manor College (Hartlepool) Year Seven pupils.

Tatayai achieved a Division Two result in his final examinations, and was selected to study A’ Levels in History, Geography and Literature at Berege School. He started his course in July 2020. He is being sponsored through his two years of A’ Level studies by Martin Lynch, formerly of Virgin Media.
